Compact 3W DC-DC converter has 8:1 input
Traco Power has launched a 3W DC-DC converter in a compact SIP-8 plastic case with an 8:1 input range.
The TEC 3UI isolated DC-DC converter series has a wide input range of 9 VDC to 75 VDC to replace devices with 2:1 and 4:1 inputs and adds remote on/off operation. There are output variants for all common bus voltages, from 3.3V up to +/- 15V.
The TEC 3UI covers a variety of standard bus voltages, minimizing the need for multiple model variants in an application and all models have short circuit protection, over current limitation, under voltage lockout and the remote control functions.
The TEC 3UI series operates reliably up to a maximum temperature of +90°C, with an approved operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and can operate at altitudes up to 5000 meters with 1600V isolation.
Available as both single and dual output models, the DC-DC converter series is suitable for various industrial applications.
