Embedded systems, AI, and new frontiers
March has become closely associated with “embedded” for several reasons. As always, the embedded world trade show takes place this month. If you attend the event in early March, you will likely spot Elektor engineers and editors on the show floor filming demos and interviewing fellow engineers. March also brings Elektor’s annual Embedded & AI edition, along with a free Bonus Edition. Let’s take a look.
If you’re interested in home automation, be sure to check out “Garage Door Remote Control.” This project features an embedded web server developed using the Lua programming language.
Curious about voice assistant projects? In “Hey, Elektor!” we present a fully offline voice assistant powered by an ESP32-S3. The project uses machine learning with Edge Impulse.
After exploring the embedded and AI projects, don’t miss the other content included in this Bonus Edition. You’ll find projects involving binary counters, a look at the potential for a quantum-safe network, and an overview of DRAM.
